I'm back!...and Google is running my world.
Not sure if anyone except me will ever read this since I was active on this blog for about one week...three years ago. Anyway, I had my Google Chrome browser open and was looking at the tabs that were open - Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Wave, and Google Maps. With an occasional visit to Excel, Word, Acrobat and others, I must spend over 90% of my day in using Google applications. If I start blogging more often, you will hear plenty of my rave reviews on their products. For now, I will focus on Google Wave - I still do not know how to describe but my co-worker Matt and I have been using it today to manage the many different topics involved in a large project we are working on. I am amazed at how efficiently and clearly it allows us to communicate and update each other while keeping each topic compartmentalized. Right now my best use for wave is to take a subject that is multi-faceted for which you and a friend will communicate on periodically while referring back to specific facets from time to time. Try using Wave and enjoy it's ability to organize your communication.
Back to Google in general, I just now realized that Blogger (formerly BlogSpot) is the host of this Blog...and it of course is owned by Google.
While many skeptics fear the dominance of Google, I wholeheartedly embrace at as they continual evolve in ways that amaze me by their features and entrust me to them with their responsive to what makes a user feel comfortable using their products.
